Our Owner

Dr. Lindsay Copeland is an award-winning Banff wedding photographer and has been based in the Bow Valley area since 2015. Living in the Canadian Rockies has allowed her to grow her passion and document love stories in this beautiful setting.

You could say that Lindsay has always had “vision.” Having graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. in Physiology, she then went on to the University of Waterloo to complete her Doctor of Optometry (OD). 

But moving to the Rockies to practice as an Optometrist only fuelled the fire for Lindsay to continue pursuing her other passion: photography. Lindsay established Rocky Mountain Photo Co. and has been capturing love stories on lakeshores and mountaintops ever since. 

Lindsay’s vision is to connect couples with the very best we have to offer in the Banff and Canmore area led to naturally wanting to help plan and coordinate events. It was a natural fit to take over Rocky Mountain Weddings from previous owner, Julie Padgett, in November of 2020.
